Colour Create Sound of Music

The Colour Create Challenge this week is sky blue, tan and ecru...probably not a combination I'd usually use....but DT member Heather has done THE most wonderful card....and it totally inspired me to ink up this Crafty Indivduals stamp for the first time....and make something a bit different to my usual.

The stamp has been inked with Powder Puffs amaretto to give a distressed feel and then dabbed with a little Brilliance sky blue [so it must be the right colour!!] on the flowers and round the edge of the card.
Used some old sheet music paper [distressed]....PM Blueberry Hill....BG Archaic card.... Prima and Hero Arts flowers....Lakeland lace paper.....a little sprinkling of stickles.....and brads from stash.

It's not a patch on Heather's card, but thank you for the inspiration....and that's what is so great about looking at all the work on different blogs....inspiration!

I noticed that Daring Cardmakers challenge is 'the sound of music'...so hopefully this card also fits the bill for that.

And now back to check on how my Ebay auctions are going.

Well done on combining two challenges. I haven't managed to do that yet. I have seen nine in one card! This is really lovely. that vintage feel is great with the music paper!

This is a stunning work of art Jacky and you could never tell that this was the first outing for the stamp….you’ve done a fab job.

Thanks for joining in with the DCM’s dare this week (or maybe that should say last week, I’m a bit behind Lol!)
