But when visiting San Francisco Haight Ashbury was somewhere we were drawn to visit.....a mecca for middle aged tourists reliving their hippy past,no doubt.....but fun to see all the same.
I remember that song playing over and over again on the radio......and it seemed apt to include it on the page.......along with bright colours and flowers.....lots and lots of layered flowers......and a bit of 'heart' journaling.
Let's hope the peace and love vibe returns sometime soon.

It is a sad world we live in now Jacky. I'm singing that song now lol and I just love your layout. You have captured the hippy essence with your lovely colours and flowers.
Cool page Jacky, love your flower power theme. And you're so right, we could do with a lot more peace and love in the world!
Your layout definitely captures the feeling of the flower power era! And the world problems just seem to multiply rather than get solved.
That is a gorgeous LO Jacky!

It's so sad, isn't it. So pointless.
I love your page: the colours and patterns are just so right
Looks like a fun place to visit! And a much happier state than that of world affairs.
Wonderful layout and fun pictures.

Very pretty page - I've got those lyrics going in my head now.
All so very tragic and pointless. A lovely bright page, capturing the spirit of peace and love. We need as much of that as we can get right now.
Lovely layout Jacky...you've captured the atmosphere perfectly!.. and I agree we could definitely do with a lot more of the love and peace these days ♥
Wishing you a happy weekend,

As I sit here aware of the rain trickling down the window behind my laptop, your bright and beautiful page has just made me feel warm again! Great to be reminded of the optimism and sense of possibility in those times - we need to keep carrying that torch. The colours and flowers are perfect, Jacky.
