I'm still beavering away on my embroidered hoops.....and still have plenty of my original vintage tablecloth......but thought it might be nice to work with some different colours for a change.
This was a small cloth I found in a charity shop which was already part embroidered.....I've finished off the stitching.
Added buttons and beads......and also die cut some felt flowers for a bit of different texture.
I love the addition of the buttons and beading. This project is making me wonder what happened to my embroidery patterns. I haven't come across them in my purging of the second floor, but they may show up when we hit the basement and the attic. This is beautiful!
Your hoops are so pretty Jacky! Lovely colours, pretty flowers and the little buttons are a lovely added effect..x Wishing you a happy new week! Susan x
Love this - you are getting better and better at these (as long as that doesn't sound like the first one was rubbish - it wasn't, it was lovely - pass me a spade and I'll dig deeper LOL)
Oh my word, you are on a roll! These are really amazing, the effort in the detail is inspirational. The colours, again blend beautifully. You need a shop, I'd buy one! Embroidery is so beautiful. Well done on another triumph. Katie xx

It's so lovely - and I really like the idea of you finishing off a piece if stitching you found in a shop. I wonder who started it?
So pretty, like the button additions you've made to bring it smack bang up to date - you plainly have more patience than I do, Jacky!

It's lovely Jacky. Like Sian, I wonder who may have started it. Great that you have given it a new lease of life.
They are looking really lovely - can't wait to see the finished display :0)
That is a lovely idea Jacky. I love upcycling and giving things a new lease of life. This looks so pretty with your buttons and hoop.
Awesome idea - and the beading is definitely my favorite bit.
You've done a lovely job Jacky, it is so pretty and delicate.
Wow, what a fab 'recycling' project ... love your buttons and beads too :)
