This week.....

This week.....
Our bathroom renovation is complete......I love our new bathroom......and just want to add some more decorative touches
My sunflowers have grown enormous.......and the first flowers are appearing.....much earlier than usual.....due to all our hot weather.

I couldn't resist  Picmonkey effects and a collage......the largest photo is the original.
I'm making more pages for my 2012 holiday album....it's getting near completion.
I'm going to join in S.J.Crafts 'Six cards on the 6th'......hopefully to give my christmas card making a kick start!!

I'm getting a haircut......thank goodness.....short and choppy,I think.
My SIL is kindly taking me to visit the new Hobbycraft store at Eastbourne.....and probably a visit to The Range as well.......and then lunch out.
I've got my annual eye test.......I just hope I don't need new glasses!!
We've got a surfeit of courgettes......so I'm going to try baking a courgette cake.....DD1 is not impressed with the idea!!
Hope you've got an interesting week ahead.

I love the filter that over-saturates the color on that flower. Your bathroom looks wonderful - I'm especially jealous over all those drawers!

The bathroom remodel looks great & those sunflowers make me smile! Would you believe - I've actually made a few Christmas cards? It's been a couple of years since I've handmade my cards, but I'm determined this year to do it & am using inspiration from classes, blogs, etc, and creating one here and there!

Confession: I had to Google "courgettes" and found that it's what we call zucchini. Yum!!! My favorite squash. I have a great zucchini bread recipe that you have reminded me of.

Your bathroom looks great - it seems like it was finished very quickly though it probably didn't feel like it to you. And your sunflower is AWESOME!!!

Lovely sunflowers! I have a great quiche recipe that uses four courgettes (what we call zucchini). Here it is:

Everyone loves it! I've used three eggs and a bit of heavy cream, plus other types of cheese.

Your bathroom looks just beautiful - love those clean and uncluttered lines :). Courgette cake sounds wonderful - I had some one and it was beautifully moist.

Like Alexa, I love the clean, spare look of your bathroom. I have a fabulous chocolate zucchini cake recipe, and zucchini bread is a top favorite around here. Hope your husband likes your version.

Your pictures are so good!! Your sunflowers are gorgeous! I have no idea what a courgette is, but I love pretty much anything with "cake" in the name!

Great job with the bathroom, sometime in the next 6 years we have to do ours, thinking that's how long before we sell. So excited that you are getting primed to start your Christmas cardmaking!!!
