Review of Craft Stamper magazine

I was recently sent a copy of Craft Stamper magazine to review- this is the UK's most popular stamping magazine, but is available in other countries as well.....and this month includes 65 'makes'.
The focus in this month's magazine is hot, summer colours.......some of them tend to be a bit bright for me....but can easily be adapted for muter shades.
Every project involves stamping.....but I really like that there are such a variety of projects....that cover a lot of genre.....scrapbooking, cards, canvases, frames, fabric, boxes, metal work, altered art and more.....and each main project has added ideas for 2 or 3 more smaller projects....so there really is something for every stamper from the beginner to the advanced......with lots of new ideas for using your supplies.
All the projects have really clear step by step instructions.....with photos of each stage.
This month's projects include items for a nautical themed party
faux feathers......arched windows using glass paints on canvas.......distress ink fold and stain backgrounds....metal cards......
Steampunk Romance cards
and much,much more.
There is a small free stamp each month....and this month it's a telephone....with some great ideas on how to use it.
I can see this stamp being useful for lots of projects......and as I had a card to make to send overseas.......I decided to put it to immediate use.
An old map book from a charity shop......some torn paper......plane sticker......tiny alphabet stickers.......the telephone stamp.....and voila!
There's plenty more in Craft Stamper.....including regular features like a 'masterclass' [this month it's painted backgrounds]......'over to you [reader's submissions].....'stamping contrasts' [the design team use one stamp set in a variety of ways]......2 pages of 'giveaways' [which can be entered for online so no cost involved].
I've loved reviewing the mag....thanks Craft Stamper.....and would certainly recommend it....and at £4.50 I think it's great value.

GR8 review, Jacky. I take mine on subscription - I've tried others but this is the one I come back to.

Happy Tuesday

The last craft magazine I received was so disappointing; this one looks like it would have lots of inspiration! The card is darling--I love the tiny letter stickers.

i like your card with the phone stamp. what a nice way to say hello to someone who lives far away. clever composition and love the idea of using a road map as a background :)

I tend to buy this magazine when we are in the UK because it is so full of interesting things that it "lasts" a long time!
