Not big and brave enough??

Some randomness today.
This afternoon the dogs were mooching around.......getting underfoot.....and generally being a nuisance.....this is normal behaviour for Chester......but Stella is usually curled up on the sofa or bed.....then I went into the lounge
the cat was curled up on the dog's sofa........and neither of them were big enough.....or brave enough.....to object!!
I spent Saturday in London with 3 'crafty' friends........we spent the morning at the Creative Stitches and Hobbycraft Exhibition.....which was a bit disappointing to be honest......and not nearly as inspiring as I had hoped......and not many pennies spent either.......best bargain was felt at £1.99 a metre........then we had a wander round Canary Wharf.....followed by a lovely meal at the Slug and Lettuce.
then.....my first ever view of the Shard outside London Bridge Station.......G's comment was "I wonder how they clean those windows".....a very interesting structure despite the cleaning problems.
And finally.......on the train home.....3 very drunk and very loud [and very young] men were ejected from the train.....at a station in the middle of nowhere......I wonder which one of their parents then got a phone call!!
And I'll leave you with...... DD1 enjoying Saturday night at an all night rave

silly pups - scared of a little kitty! (actually they are probably smart to leave the cat alone...)

LOL! Our cat definitely scares the new, BIG dog! What an awesome picture of your DD at the rave.
Missed you lately!

I have never been to a show such as Hobby Craft and was wondering if I was missing out when many of my craft friends were talking about going to Ally Pally on Saturday - thanks to you post I know I made the right decision to go to a crop instead!

Obviously that cat has the dogs firmly under its control! The Shard looks amazing, although I have a fear of lifts so would never be able to venture inside!

£1.99 felt..that does sound like a good bargain :)

Wow £1.99 felt, was it wool? That's amazing, my local shop sells wool felt for £10.00 a metre. Ah Canary Wharf I watched it grow while I was a student nurse in the East End.

Isn't that just like a cat? They obviously own the world! Sounds like you had a lot of fun despite the disappointing craft exhibition.

I love how the cat is the boss !!
Sorry to hear the show was disappointing :(

Happy to see that the proper hierarchy is established in your home. Sorry the show wasn't more inspiring but how nice to spend time with crafty friends!

What a fun look at the randomness in your life right now.

I had been really tempted to go to the show, but I had my MIL staying and didn't think she'd enjoy wandering around with me for ages and ages. But by the sound of things I didn't miss much

Lots going on with you Jacky! Shame about your craft show. I am seriously thinking of going to ours in the Kings Hall next week, hope I don't get disappointed.

Sorry the show was disappointing, but it looks like you had a good day out!

Well at least the dogs know who's boss! Lucky hasn't figured that one out yet. ;o)

Your trip to London sounds like a great adventure!

Sounds like you had a fun day regardless :) Don't know that our dog would stand up to the cats either but she is quite outnumbered at 4-1 ;)
