London Calling

Today London was definately calling me.......to a much anticipated meeting with a group of fellow bloggers.....a lunch at Maggies in Kensington [booked by Ruth]......arranged by Deb and Carrie.....who are spending 2 weeks in the UK.....on a visit from Arizona.....and the British weather did its best to welcome them.....with snow!!
It was wonderful to meet Deb after following her blog for so long......she was just as nice 'in real life' as her blog suggests....and Carrie was lovely as well.Lunch lasted nearly 3 hours.....you can imagine how much we all had to chat about.
And the icing on the cake was meeting a whole group of bloggers......11 of us at lunch.......some of whose blogs I already follow.....a couple of 'new to me' bloggers.....and a second meeting in 3 weeks with Mel and Alison [who again flew over from Spain!].
It was a simply wonderful day.....thank you so much ladies....and hooray for cyberspace....and blogs....and forums....and online classes.....that allow us all to connect across the globe......and make real, lasting friendships.
and hoping Deb and Carrie enjoy the rest of their stay as much as we all enjoyed today.

Love seeing so many sweet familiar faces all together. Those from warmer climes (Deb, Carrie and Alison) look a bit cold!

Looks like a fantastic time and a great group of ladies. It's always fun to meet blog friends in real life. Sounds like your weather has been similar to ours. Some lakes are open water - others are still frozen but spring cannot be far off! ;)
