A sad day
On Saturday my lovely mother-in-law had a fall and broke her hip........the hospital operated on Sunday and gave her a partial hip replacement.......when DD1 and I visited on Monday she was a little confused, but very cheerful.......she slept well on Monday night and the hospital seemed pleased with her progress......but very sadly she passed away last night in her sleep.
She was a wonderful mother,grandmother and great-grandmother........and will be deeply missed by all her family.

Hi Jacky, I'm catching up too. Work has kept me away from my usual browse of blogs. So sorry to hear about your mother in law, it is a shock when someone dies unexpectedly. You have some wonderful memories and this family photo at Christmas is especially a treasure to keep.
