DD1 searched for weeks for a wedding dress.....she searched shops....second hand shops......charity shops......and finally found just what she was looking for on Ebay.
A wedding dress.....with underskirt.....veil.....and gloves......brand new with tags......all for just £25......a real bargain.
Doesn't she look lovely
So when is the wedding??
Well......not any time soon....unless you count going to a Halloween party on a boat on the River Thames as a zombie bride!!!
But she did apparently get 4 proposals of marriage!!!!
And had a lot of fun.

I thought you had forgotten to tell us some news there for a moment Jacky! Looks like she had a great time!
Ha ha glad it only cost a fiver
I went to a party at the London Dungeon once and I was the bride of dracula in a wedding dress... great fun!
£25? Brilliant value for a wedding dress and not bad for a costume either

Forgot to say - fab pix - layout to follow?

Oh my goodness, I gasped when I saw the red! Brilliantly told ...
So glad you had the before and after photographs. They would make a great lay-out, I agree.
Your daughter made a fabulous zombie bride.
what an awesome party and how fun to be a Zombie bride, my daughter went retro this year and was the pink power ranger! LOL She loved Power Rangers coming up!
How clever is that?! I'm not surprised about the proposals - she makes a fabulous zombie bride lol Brilliant story for November Jacky and, as Irene syas, it's great to see the before and after pictures. Definitely well worthy of a layout!
Brilliant story and clever idea for a fancy dress. I hope whoever's dress it was doesn't see what she did to it lol.
Clever costume, glad she had fun making and wearing it :)
what a brilliant Halloween inspired wedding story. I love it xxxx

Brilliant story!
Oh my word - I thought I'd missed some major news then, but when I scrolled down I discovered what it was all about! She looks amazing in both versions :)
Brilliant! beautifully told in words and pictures! ...and she looked fabulous.
I almost gasped when I saw the red being painted on that gown! But honestly, I think it suits her better that way! :)
Very cleverly done Jacky. What a great zombie bride your DD made.
ha ha! I At first I was wondering why she was sharing her wedding dress before the big day! Such a fun costume!
LOL!....thought I'd missed something too!

I was tricked too - a great twist and a great costume!
Great set of photos, what a fab layout that will be! I wonder if it was hard to put the first daub of pain on? I did it to one of DH's work shirts yesterday for my son's costume and that was hard enough! Great layouts from Shimelle's class too!
Brilliant! She looks great. Hope you are going to scrap those photos!
Wow! I was totally unprepared for that outcome! Brilliant costume!
Oh you set me up for that one. Thanks for sharing! And yes, she is "quite something".
Looks like a fun zombie party - great storytelling!!
Oh my gosh!!! You had me going there! You presented that so well; I feel like standing up and applauding.
Have a great week,
Rinda
I too thought I'd missed something & I am so impressed with that fancy dress costume/makeup!! They all look amazing & like they were having a ball!! TFS :D
That was a great twist! She did a marvelous job on the costume ... I shall have to remember that one :)
Just catching up with Sunday's stories ... and this is a good 'un! Love that she made her outfit special rather than spent that £25 on hiring one.
