And I'm not really sure what will be the best type of thing to sell.......I don't think christmas cards are a good idea......they are just too cheap to buy in the shops......so I need things that are a bit more unusual......and don't take too long to make......that I like......and can be used by me or given as gifts if they don't sell.
A pretty tall order!!!!
Anyway......I decided to start with some knitted holly tags.....I've made about 20 so far
Quick and fun to knit......though putting them together takes almost as long.......and the next problem is what to charge for them.
Maybe this bazaar wasn't such a good idea!!!!!!!!
But I do think these tags will be my monthly make for The Felt Fairy this month.

These are really pretty Jacky! Do let us know how the stall turns out! xxx
very cute, I'm sure they will sell well.
Your tags are very cute and should sell easily at the bazaar - GOOD LUCK

ooh I love them you are clever! Let us know the date and venue of your sale in case we can pop down xxx
Oh wow, Jacky! These are amazing :)
You might find it worth having a few cards too, you know - people sometimes want a special Christmas card for someone even if most of the cards they send are cheap and mass produced, and your cards are certainly special :)
oooh these are lovely. Enjoy your bazaar - i'm doing a school one with a friend too and am having the same dilemmas as you x
Fingers are crossed here for you! Though not sure you will need any luck with these - they are seriously cute!
Those tags are gorgeous, how great would it be to get a gift with one of those attached. Good luck with the bazaar
Wow, that is very exciting for you Jacky! I think these are absolutely adorable and will probably sell very quickly!
I'm sure you will do great! You are so talented (i totally don't know how to knit). But also smart to make things you can use yourself just in case...
These are really cute! I enjoy craft shows but haven't done any for a while.

These are lovely Jacky - I must say that I also think people would buy your cards too x
I think they're gorgeous and something a bit different so hopefully they'll sell. Chris x
How lovely. . . and unusual, so I think they will do very well. They'll be so gorgeous on a package.
Ooh, best of luck Jacky! I think these are fab..they'd definitely tempt me. I think you are thinking very wisely about the cards, though if you have a few and have a little spot going spare on the stall, no harm in trying to squeeze them in
Pricing handmade goods is such a minefield. I used to sell my jewellery at craft fairs but never tried with cards. Your holly tags are gorgeous and I'm sure they will be a good seller. I agree with Mel that it's probably worth having a few cards for those that want a special one to give. Maybe personalised for family members.
Good luck x
Hi Jacky..You have won the Knit Giveaway on the blog so you have some lovely new CK knitting needles to use when making your pretty knitted holly tags!
If you could send me your address details I will pop them in the post for you along with the buttons...
Happy weekend!

I think there will be a long line waiting to buy your cards. They are that good. Love the holly you knitted.
They are lovely Jacky and very unique. I am sure they will sell but wouldn't have a clue what to charge:( gOOD LUCK
So pretty Jacky..these will sell like hot cakes!!

Impressive Jacky & what a great idea - I understand what you mean about cards being so cheap in the shops, my friends always ask why I don't sell my cards, don't think they understand how financially un-viable it is lol Good luck, can't wait to see what else you come up with for your stall :) xxx
They look gorgeous.
These are fabulous - though difficult to put a price on as with any hand-made goods. I find special offers tempt people e.g. buy 5 for the price of 4. I agree with the others though - if you have spare cards, have them available.
These tags are so cute! Good luck with the stall. I tried one a couple of years ago and only made about £3 all day, but never mind! I think your tags are really sweet and should sell well! x
These are wonderful!
