Our cruise took us to a small town in the South of France......St Raphael......too small for ships to dock in the port.....we came ashore by launch. Many of our fellow passengers chose to spend the day on the beach.....we preferred to explore the pretty little town.
We enjoyed the small port area full of boats.........and we wandered along the promenade.
Along the quayside was a market selling a wide variety of handmade items that the locals thought would appeal to tourists.......lots of 'pretty' things.......we did buy some gorgeous smelling lavender soap.......everything was very reasonably priced.......especially after Italian prices.
After the market we wandered through the town........constantly coming across little gems of buildings hidden round corners and in tiny squares........finally making our way back to the port area......and a much needed cold drink before returning to the ship.
A lovely day.

Lovely layouts and mementoes - a much more interesting way than just filing pix in an album
Happy Sunday Jacky

Fab muli-photo pages - I especially like the 2nd page with it's pretty paper, punched flowers and journalling block.
All these lovely memories! What a special album this is, Jacky :)
I am so jealous of your proximity to Eurpoe - the trip sounds as though it was really lovely.
Your layouts are just beautiful. Congratulations on finishing photos of one vacation before taking the next. I have never achieved that!
I think we would have chosen exploring the town too..it looks lovely. I always really admire the way you fit a selection of photos on your pages - it tells the story very well
Bravo for finishing it off and the final 3 layouts are wonderful, I especially love the last one :)
Gorgeous pictures Jacky, your layouts are amazing.
GReat job - that last layout is my favorite.

This brings back memories! When I was a teenager we spent every summer in the South of France and St Raphael was one of our regular places to visit. Great layouts and oh, to be there now!
I really liked how your last page turned out. I'm normally not a fan of brown papers, but it works so well with your photos and the layout is both simple and interesting. Great job!
What a pretty town, it must have been lovely to explore it. Your pages look fabulous, love how you've managed to fit so many photos on them! Thanks for joining in my Scrapbooking Soiree! x
