I've been on a shopping trip

I've been on a shopping trip today....and it should have cost me nothing.......but, of course, it didn't!!!
I'm starting to make mini memory albums with our local Young Carers Group......and have a mini album workshop with parents and children in the February holiday........and my employers are paying for the resources [thus the 'cost nothing' bit].
We have no craft shops here.......so I went on a trip to Eastbourne......to 'The Range' shop....and ESK Discount Wharehouse........both have craft departments.
I found what I needed for the courses [apart from trimmer blades]......but then couldn't stop a few bits jumping in the basket for me........especially with the 'discounted' prices at ESK.
So......I've come home with a couple of Tim holtz dies........a lovely stamp set and a large Anna Griffin lace stamp that was only £1.99 [how could I leave that behind?!]............some multi-coloured ultra fine twine..........a reel of ricrac [can colour that with pens and inks]......a leaves punch..........my favourite Tombo glue [it's a complete disaster if I run out of this]........and a paper pad [which I definately didn't need!].
So I better get off here........and get crafting.......

I just love to see other people's shopping! I think my favourite bit here might be that lovely ricrac

Can't say that I blame you taking advantage of those prices and a fab haul.

Perishing here, hope it's a little warmer where you are!

Also hoping the snow thaws overnight at Westpoint, where I hope a few little craft items might fall in to my basket too!!

I have a particular double-sided tape that I just CANNOT run out of - it would be terrible!

You couldn't possibly have left any of those things on the shelf!! lol - I so recognise this situation - I have to buy supplies for my papercrafts class, and I have a kitty for it, but I can always manage to 'justify' the extra stamp(s), punch(es), ribbon(s) etc that jump into the basket! ;-)

That's a good haul of stash, isn't it satisfying to find lots of things you want right there under one roof!
